Facial Moisturizers

Moisturizer is the last step in your routine before SPF, the product that seals in everything applied before, reduces transepidermal water loss, and maintains the skin barrier throughout the day or night. It is not the "most important" product in the routine, but it is the one that determines how long the results of the other steps last on the skin.

Korean and Japanese skincare has greatly expanded the category with textures ranging from transparent watery gels, suitable for oily skin that needs hydration without occlusion, to rich and nourishing creams for dry and mature skin. In between, there are light emulsions, gel-creams, and sleeping masks designed for intensive overnight action.

In the catalog, you will find moisturizers formulated with ceramides for barrier restoration, multi-molecular hyaluronic acid for multi-layer hydration, peptides and collagen for anti-aging action, Centella Asiatica and beta-glucan for soothing, and ferments for radiance and texture. The choice between gel, emulsion, and cream depends on your skin type and the season.

Many people think that cream only serves to provide softness. In reality, its technical mission is to counteract TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss) .

Without this final step, the previously applied active ingredients would evaporate rapidly upon contact with air.

The cream "closes" the routine, creating a barrier that allows the ingredients to work undisturbed throughout the day or night.

The creams selected by Auryn Skin don't just hydrate, they repair. We look for ingredients that mimic the skin's structure:

  • Ceramides: The “building blocks” that repair the damaged skin barrier.
  • Centella Asiatica (Cica): To soothe redness and inflammation.
  • Panthenol (Pro-vitamin B5): For deep and regenerating hydration.
  • Rice and Propolis Extracts: For intense nutrition and a "glow" effect.

Your skin isn't always the same, it changes with the seasons.

  • Oily/Combination or Summer Skin: Choose a gel-cream or sorbet texture. They're light, absorb quickly, and non-greasy.
  • Dry or Winter Skin: Opt for thicker, more enveloping creams that protect from the cold and home heating, keeping skin supple until the evening.

Don't just spread the cream. Warm a small amount between your palms until it reaches body temperature.

Apply to your face using upward and outward motions. Finally, apply light pressure with your palms to your cheeks, forehead, and chin: this simple gesture promotes absorption and brings a moment of profound calm to your day.

Absolutely! Often, the skin produces more sebum precisely because it is dehydrated and is trying to " self-protect ."

By using a light, targeted moisturizer, you'll send a signal to your skin that it no longer needs to produce excess oil.

The result? Less shiny and more balanced skin.

In the morning, if you have combination or oily skin and your sunscreen is already hydrating, you can skip the cream and go straight to the sunscreen.

If you have dry skin, it's best to apply a light layer of cream before applying SPF to ensure maximum comfort throughout the day.
